A shattered dream silently screams "Let this not happen again !" A watery eye cries in pain- "I was a fool to see that smile- The smile that made me dream". A disturbed mind doesn't care to feel, Says, its feelings had never been a big deal ! A confused brain tries its best To erase that lovely face- The beauty which reminds it of pain. A sharp memory laments in vain "Why do I have to remember forever The tales of pleasure and pain?" A broken heart still somehow beats For life has much more to offer Than unfulfilled wishes and shattered dreams.

I don't know whether you will remember me or not, Time and again I use to come to you And sing for you without any reason... Time goes by but so long as I live I have one desire .. Whenever I happen to meet you on my way, I want to see a cute smile of surprising happiness on your face... And that is why I keep singing for you without any reason !!                                                                         - DS মনে রবে কি না রবে আমারে সে আমার মনে নাই। ক্ষণে ক্ষণে আসি তব দুয়ারে, অকারণে গান গাই॥ চলে যায় দিন, যতখন আছি পথে যেতে যদি আসি কাছাকাছি তোমার মুখের চকিত সুখের হাসি দেখিতে যে চাই-- তাই অকারণে গান গাই॥

The clouds have begun to retreat The night says Good bye The sea has touched its shore And hence has ceased to exist. . Only sadness remains silently like a footprint All I can say is that I don't need anything ! -DS মেঘ বলেছে 'যাব যাব', রাত বলেছে যাই, সাগর বলে 'কূল মিলেছে - আমি তো আর নাই'। দু:খ বলে 'রইনু চুপে তাঁহার পায়ের চিহ্নরূপে', আমি বলে 'মিলাই আমি আর কিছু না চাই'।।

I wonder who has stolen all the sleep from my eyes . . And left me dying with those sleepless nights . . My thirsty eyes are ever eager to see her . . She is the one in search of whom I wonder about all alone . . A flute plays a sweet tune all by itself in my heart . . Reminding me of her presence somewhere around ! How strange is it that I hear her words in my ears Even though she doesn't seem to speak anything... My heart pains and my eyes glitter with tears.. As I see her shadow swinging day and night near me.. And as I die for a glimpse of her real being !! - DS জাগরণে যায় বিভাবরী আঁখি হতে ঘুম নিল হরি কে নিল হরি মরি মরি !! যার লাগি ফিরি একা একা - আঁখি পিপাসিত নাহি দেখাঁ, তারি বাঁশি ওগো তারি বাঁশি তারি বাঁশি বাজে হিয়া ভরি মরি মরি । বাণী নাহি, তবু কানে কানে কী যে শুনি তাহা কেবা জানে। এই হিয়াভরা বেদনাতে, বারি-ছলোছলো আঁখিপাতে, ছায়া দোলে তারি ছায়া দোলে ছায়া দোলে দিবানিশি ধরি মরি মরি॥

Hello .. Yesterday (10th June 2012) I alongwith my friends of AFS-II went for a local sight seeing trip of Pune. We really enjoyed a lot during the trip. We were lucky to have a very cheerful person Mr. Rohan Gawade, Assistant Professor, Singhad College of Science, Pune as our friend {cum "Guide"!!!} for the trip. He is a very friendly person and knows the nook and corner of the city. He really made our trip a memorable one. Even the delicious at Asha dining Hall was due to his perfect selection. Our team consisted of Rohanji , Pabitra da , Rahul , Rohit, Laxmiji , Shivji , Chellapillai , Rana , Saloni , Dishari , Manideepa , Priyanka , Saurav, Rajiv (Could not find them in FB till now) and the Don Sushil.  We first went to Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park and Research Centre. The best thing about this park is that there is a strict restriction on carrying any sort of plastics, bottles, chocolates, biscuits, chips etc inside the park. If you happen to have a "
